How To Store Your EGO Batteries

Sue shows us the correct way to store your EGO battery. You might be surprised that most people store them incorrectly! Whether you use it on a lawnmower, snow blower, trimmer, chainsaw or leaf blower, Sue's tips & tricks will help you get full power for the lifetime of your battery.

If you have any questions about EGO Power Equipment, be sure to visit us at HomCo Lumber and Hardware! Our team of experts in the Lawn & Garden Department would be happy to answer any questions you have about the difference in EGO battery-powered power equipment. Experience for yourself why we’re called the friendliest place in town!

Step #1:

Slide the battery onto the charger until it locks in.

Step #2:

Don’t forget about it!

If you leave it for a couple of days on the charger, you will deplete the battery's power over the length of the battery life. Tip: Don’t store it on a plugged-in charger. Unplug the charger once your battery is fully charged.

Step #3:

Make sure you store the battery and charger in a place with a moderate temperature. Room temperature is preferred! Anything less than 50º will start to drain the battery.

These simple steps will ensure that your battery retains its maximum power throughout its lifetime.
