What You’ll Need for This Project
- HomCo DIY Kit, which includes:
- 1 Wood Platform
- Longer, Narrow Dowel
- Thicker, Shorter Dowel
- Instructions
- Paint or Stain
- Wood Glue
Step #1: Paint All 3 Pieces
The first step is to paint or stain your jewelry stand. You’ll want to paint all 3 pieces. Be sure to allow it to dry completely prior to gluing it together or hanging jewelry on it.
Step #2: Attach Dowels
Put a couple of dabs of wood glue into the hole on the base, then place the longer narrow dowel into the base.
Next, place a couple of dabs of wood glue into the hole of the thicker, shorter dowel and place it onto the top of the long narrow dowel.
Allow the glue to dry completely before placing any jewelry on your stand or before wrapping it up as a gift for your Mom on Mother’s Day!
